hello
gosh i love, i mean absolutely LOVE, award season. the golden globes are always so fun to watch. every year (except last year cause the golden globes were cancelled), i watch the pre red carpet interviews, the red carpet interviews, the actual award show, and the post award show. it's quite embarrassing to admit this but i would go in front of my mirror and would recite what i would say if i ever won a golden globe (yes i am slightly delusional and i can't even act). anyways enough about my insanity.
the dresses this year did not take my breathe away like they usually do every year but hopefully they will deliver at the oscars. the golden globes lifted up my spirits because i am somewhat sick due to food poisoning. eh.
rachel zoe's clients:
kate beckinsale in j mendel: she always opts for the dramatic tube dress with huge chandelier earrings. but hey, it works for her every time. she's so gorgeous. it should be a crime to look this good.

this is at the critic's choice awards 2008 last week. i thought she was wearing the same dress in a different color from the picture above.
cameron diaz in chanel: she loves to wear pink on the red carpet. i mean she did wear pale pink at the oscars last year. this is not my favorite but she's cameron diaz and she's beautiful.
debra messing in zac posen: i don't think this picture does this dress justice. it looked so much better on tv. i don't think this was her best look on the red carpet and i don't really like her puffy hair, but i do love the rest.
my worst dressed list:
renee zellweger in carolina herrera: she rarely goes on the red carpet not wearing carolina herrera and she usually brings it, but im sorry, she didn't tonight. i don't know... the hair and the dress are just too much. not my favorite. at all.
heidi klum in (i have no idea): heidi always looks great but really heidi? really? i mean she's gorgeous but the dress.... not so really. i think it might have worked it someone much younger wore the dress. no, it would have not. i mean what confuses me is that they have SO MANY BEAUTIFUL DRESSES to choose from and some of them end up choosing a mediocre dress... sigh.
my best dressed list of the night:
eva mendes in dior: I LOVE IT!!!i think she was the best dressed of the night. the turquoise and white combo with the color of her skin worked out perfectly. she looks absolutely flawless.
kate winselt if yves saint laurent: i don't really like her dress but i had to put her under my best dressed because she just looked radiant and beautiful. she really made the dress work. i mean...2 wins tonight= amazing
demi moore in dior: i dont usually like what she's wearing but she looked so pretty today in her gown.

maggie gyllenhaal in lanvin: she is always the person to look for on the red carpet because she always wears something out of the ordinary. i think she looks great and who can ever go wrong with lanvin?

amy adams in oscar de la renta: i dont like her makeup at all (if she's even wearing any) but i do LOVE her dress and jewelry. the black and forest green combination= beautiful
what i would dress my so called clients in if i ever become a stylist:
[couple of outfits i came up with]
i love the dress... i feel like it's one of those dresses that would either get highly praised or highly criticized

the dress is beautiful and i think the accents of turquoise jewelry gives it a hint of color. (okay maybe more than a hint)

mmm the gown is sooo pretty. (im guessing its marchesa)
anyway, it was a great night and such a beautiful day. nothing can get better than this. im off to bed . adios.
