hello,

i feel like i haven't written on this thing for a while (3 days to be exact). i probably feel this way because i blogged every day back at home and now, i rarely get to sit down and relax in front of my computer. speaking of home, i just saw how its still 80 degrees there! its funny because its 10 degrees here. i really do live in two totally different worlds... its insane. boston has been super duper cold and i literally layer 5 pieces of clothing. i feel and look like michelin walking down the street... at this point, comfort and warmth are all i need. anyways, i have some exciting news. i am leaving for montreal with my friend natasha tomorrow morning. its going to be my first time in canada! super excited

well enough about my life for now, to say the least. 

anyways when i was still back at home during winter break, i dug through my book shelf and found a magazine i picked up over the summer for free at a surf shop in newport. as i kept on browsing through the pages, i came across some really cool artwork by mel kadel (pictures below). i read up on her and found out how she's now based in california represented at the Richard Heller Gallery in santa monica. i should check it out when im back home. yes indeed.
