spur (of the moment)

hello,
so since i've last written on this thing, i have become increasingly sick(er) than i was before and it was/is not pleasant. I am much better today (thanks to robitussin and prayers-thanks mom and dad). i never got it when people wanted to become sick in order to skip class. are you people crazies? okay i get the missing class part (not really) but the becoming sick part, i don't. the last couple of days have been like death on stick. my quarter side of the room is contaminated and i do believe caution tape should surround that hazardous space. no joke. what i'm trying to say is... i HATE absolutely HATE being sick. thank goodness i don't have classes tomorrow.
anyways, i have 3o minutes until my next class so what better way to kill time? i've been waiting to blog about my favorite magazine for a while so here i am. so a couple years ago, my mom picked up this magazine she thought i'd be interested in and boy, she was right (gosh i love my mom- she is my fashionista: the person who i look up to the most when it comes to fashion). back to the point...the moment i picked up the magazine, i got hooked. now i have about 30 of them in my room back home. this magazine, should i say, is more like a book full of artwork, articles based on up and coming designers (i remember reading about phillip lim and alexander wang before they exploded into the big scene), japanese food, the "it" models, and places to visit all over the world. its at least 5 times the size of any elle or vogue magazine and in my opinion, 10xs better. you know that feeling you get when you have something to look forward to (kind of like Christmas)? thats the feeling i get every time we go to the kinokuniya bookstore to pick up the last edition of SPUR. i was over the moon when i had a stack of 5 spur magazines when i went home for winter break. hmmm i bet the february issue is sitting on my desk at home.... must wait until spring break.

SPUR magazine- three of the many i have stored on my bookshelf

yeah, i already have a blog which is private 'cause it's full of stuff i'd be too embarrassed to let others read like poems and such... but as soon as i catch some free time, i'm going to write on the one you started following ;) i just don't know when yet. hahaha.
